2020 Huntington Beach Turkey Wobble Take the Turkey Wobble Challenge: Run, Give, Nominate

The Huntington Beach Turkey Wobble is going virtual this year! So you can spend your Thanksgiving morning running or walking wherever you are … while also supporting a good cause.

For the past 10 years, the Huntington Beach Turkey Wobble has partnered with World Help to provide clean water to those in need. This event has raised enough money to drill more than 40 wells in developing countries including Haiti, Uganda, India, Guatemala, Honduras, and the Philippines. Each well gives clean, fresh water to hundreds of people.

Will you join us this year? You can be the drop that makes the difference in a person’s life.

Plus, this year, you can take part in the brand new Turkey Wobble Challenge. Here’s how it works:

  • 1. RUN. Sign up to run or walk either the 5K, 10K, or kids 1K on Thanksgiving morning. Don't forget to post pictures or videos along your route and share how you’re running to help provide clean water around the world.

  • 2. GIVE. Your $30 registration fee will provide clean water for TWO people for an entire year! You’ll help provide clean-water wells in some of the world’s neediest communities. You can also donate the additional amount of your choice to make an even bigger impact.

  • 3. NOMINATE. Tag five friends on social media and nominate them to join you in the Turkey Wobble Challenge and donate $30 as well. Then, ask them to nominate five of their friends. The more people you get running, walking, or wobbling the day of the event, the more people around the world will be rescued from waterborne diseases!

And don’t forget to pick up your free Turkey Wobble gear. Thanksgiving morning, 7:00AM-9:00AM, you can stop by the intersection of Pacific Coast Hwy & Beach Blvd in Huntington Beach to pick up a commemorative Turkey Wobble T-shirt and bib. Can’t make it? You can download a digital version of the bib here.
